皆さんがお持ちの革製品って、何革ですか？
私は、お恥ずかしながら、革製品に対して無頓着でしたので、もはや革か合皮かの違いでしか考えていませんでした（笑）
一番メジャーな革は、きっと牛革だと思います。
しかし、、、革の世界には、牛革以外にも様々な動物の革があり、それぞれ魅力に溢れた素材なんです！！
今回は牛以外の革について、ご紹介していきたいと思います！！
革のダイヤモンド“コードバン”が有名の馬革
繊維密度や強度は低いですが、非常に柔らかいです。
特に希少価値の高いコードバンと言われている、馬のお尻の部分の革は別格で、牛革の数倍の強度があり、弾力性も豊かです。
使い込めば使い込むほど、滑らかな艶感を楽しんでいただける、いわゆる味が出てくる革になります。

FUJITAKAのステインシリーズは、タンニンで丁寧になめされ、丹念に仕上げされた染料仕上げのコードバンを使用しています。
創業80年を超える歴史のある老舗タンナーで、原皮から生産された希少価値の高い皮革です。

革表面の３穴１群の（∴←こんな）毛穴が特徴です。

本体素材には、表面全体にワックスを丁寧に手ぶきした後にアイロンを掛け独特の艶とムラを付けたイタリア製の羊革を使用しています。
