いきなりですが、皆さんはレザー鞄についてどんな印象をお持ちでしょうか？（実際お持ちの方はそのような印象でしたでしょうか。）
普段の手入れ、雨に濡れた日の手入れ、汚れたときの手入れ。とにかく手入れが大変。
革にとって「水」はめっちゃ天敵です。濡れてしまうとシミになったり….。
革製品は手入れによっては一生モノです。
そうわかってるんですけどなかなかできないのが本音。私は水に濡れたら拭く程度しかしていません（もったいない）
数々の革製品へのイメージはあると思いますが、一番にイメージは
「値段が高い」
これが一番多いイメージではないでしょうか。このサイズでこの値段？みたいな…
でもレザーバッグは高いなりに良い所があります。
私もレザーバッグをもっているのですが、雨に濡れるとやはり心配します（高いものやから余計にね…）
ミニバッグなので一生懸命濡れないようにはするんですがやはり限度はあります…。
でも使う度に思うことは「革が柔らかくなってなじんできたなぁ。」って思います。これは経年変化でずっと使わないと思えないことですしレザーバッグの良さでもあります。これは鞄だけではなくて革小物にもいえることですがレザーには長く使うだけの楽しさがあります。
ここでひとつ、
「レザー鞄」
の手入れの仕方をご紹介します！
①水に濡れたらとにかくすぐ拭く！！
タオルなどですぐ拭くことをおすすめします。
一見大丈夫そうに見えても、水分と一緒に必要な油分まで知らず知らずの内に失われていることもあり
これが革の劣化に繋がります。なので、とにかく拭いて下さい！！
冒頭で私は革製品の手入れは濡れたら拭くことしかしてないってぼやきましたが
どうやら間違いではなさそう…
②防水スプレーを使う
これは自分の鞄がこれからどんな感じになっていってほしいか、によって使い方は変わります。
革の経年変化を楽しみたいという方は、「明日は雨がふるかも？」ってときだけのご使用を！
防水スプレーのコーティングにより経年変化はしずらくなるので、必要なときにかけることがおすすめ。
とにかく汚れを付けず綺麗に使いたいという方は、雨の日にかかわらず、定期的にメンテナンスとしてスプレーを
ふりかけることをお勧めします。スプレーが汚れを防止してくれます。
話は変わりますが….
どうせレザーを買うなら何年間も使ったほうが絶対お得です。
個人的意見ですが、革製品ならちょっと贅沢なものを買ってもいいかな…と思います。一生モノですから！！
